Although this curiosity-driven research is a primarily of fundamental interest, we target materials that could be of interest in actual strategic fields such as : energy storage or molecular electronics

Many interesting chemical or physical properties may arise from their outstanding "redox flexibility". Here-below is an example of a Fe4-Fe4 cubic switch where the LMCT, MLCT and MMCT can be switched ON&OFF by varying the potential, leading to a remarkable electrochromic properties
